When dealing with Mercedes Construction, you are dealing with the Builder and Director, plus an experienced team of Construction Staff.

We maintain a lean and yet highly qualified team of 14 integral full-time employees including a Senior Estimator/Pre Contracts Manager, Contracts Administrator and administration support. Being located with the Zorzi head office we also have the benefit of expertise from the Zorzi infrastructure which includes state and national award winning builders and over 300 years of combined construction knowledge.


Adrian Gagiero
Managing Director

Adrian has extensive experience in construction having worked in the industry for 35 years. Starting as an Apprentice Carpenter he has worked his way up through the industry working in both commercial and residential sectors. During the past 25 years he has predominantly been in commercial construction working on projects with construction values up to $25 million. In his position as either Site Manager or Construction Manager, Adrian has been the recipient of State and National Excellence in Construction Awards, ranging from refurbishment work, commercial construction and luxury apartment construction. From his hand on experience, his knowledge of commercial building is what sets him apart from other Builders.

His portfolio includes; Virgin Australia lounge upgrade, Qantas forecourt upgrade, Bethany club house in Yanchep, Brightwater rehabilitation centre and administration office, Bunnings superstore in Armadale, Macmahon Contracting administration and workshop in Perth Airport, No Birds car rental fit our in Kewdale.
 

Franky Widjaja
Management Accountant

Franky started his accounting career with the Zorzi Group in 2016 after completing his Bachelor of Commerce with Curtin University. As an intern, he was trained extensively by a Chartered Accountant who has more than 20 years commercial experience. Through this training, Franky was able to progress to the Management Accounting role within Mercedes Construction in 2020 and has since become an integral part of the team, specialising in financial modelling and dynamic cashflow forecasting at both project and company level. Franky completed a Master of Taxation Law degree from Curtin University in 2020 and is currently progressing to complete the Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) programs.


Kate Marinovic
Pre-Contract Manager

Kate has over 25 years of successful experience in the construction industry overseas and in Australia, covering a wide range of commercial, residential, health, education, industrial and civil projects. She has extensive knowledge in all aspects of cost engineering, tendering, estimating, cost forecasting, risk analysis, value engineering, design and construct projects, project management and contract administration.

Kate is dedicated construction professional with a Bachelor of Engineering - Construction and is a member of the Australian Institute of Building and Australian Cost Engineering Society. Her professional approach to cost as a major business driver is key in business planning, profitability analysis and delivering accurate information fundamental for construction projects to our new and existing clients. During her professional career in Australia Kate has worked for large building and construction companies in Western Australia on numerous successful projects. Applying her proven skills and experience she brings an impressive record of achievement providing companies with successful tenders, strategic growth, reputation and standing within the industry.
 

Declan Sloan
Senior Contract Administrator

Declan has been in the construction industry for 30 years. After graduating with a HND in Building and Quantity Surveying from the University of Ulster (Ireland), he has worked in the Carribbean, America and Europe with the past 9 years in Australia as a Project Manager, Senior Contract Administrator and Estimator on commercial and industrial jobs up to $85 million. Declan's solid experience, organisation and attention to detail in Contract Administration and Estimating makes certain that projects are delivered on time and within budget. His professional approach assists with making the commercial building experience clear and concise for the client. 
 

Madison Lane
Contract Administrator

Madison commenced work in the construction industry 10 years ago in Victoria. Madison has experience in many areas of construction, from high end luxury housing to working for industry body The Master Builders Association of Western Australia and delivering a multitude of commercial projects across Victoria and Western Australia. Madison has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Construction Management and Economics at Curtin University.
